Description:  The DeCew Falls WTP, located at 2700 DeCew Road in the City of St. Catharines, is the largest WTP in
the Niagara Region, serving approximately 181,000 people, including the City of St. Catharines, the City of Thorold (excluding Port Robinson), the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Town of Lincoln (Vineland/ Jordan). The WTP is a conventional water treatment plant drawing raw water from Lake Erie via the Welland Canal and the Ontario Power Generation flow control structure. Its overall plant capacity is 227.3 ML/d.
