This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for In Service Road Safety [CM1] [TU2] Review of Various Sites – Niagara Region, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). Niagara Region is committed to the reduction and eventual elimination of serious collisions on the Regional road network through its Vision Zero Road Safety Plan. Niagara Region is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to conduct In Service Road Safety Reviews (ISRSR) for the identified road corridors and intersections across the region. The objective of each ISRSR is to recommend short, medium and long-term operational and safety improvement countermeasures for future implementation through the Region’s Vision Zero program or capital projects.
