This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2026-RFP-86 Microwave Radio Replacement Project for the Niagara Regional Police Service, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) invites qualified and authorized proponents to submit proposals for the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support, and related services required for the in-place replacement of the existing Ericsson microwave radio system supporting the NRPS’s mission-critical communications network and P25 radio system.

The RFP is intended to procure a complete, operational replacement solution for the existing microwave radio equipment installed at NRPS’s microwave network sites within the Niagara Region. Existing microwave dishes and primary physical support structures are to remain in place as part of this project, and no dish replacement is contemplated under the base scope of work. Realignment of existing dishes is not anticipated as part of the base scope unless expressly identified by the NRPS in the RFP document.

The successful proponent shall provide all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, software, licensing, accessories, tools, testing, documentation, transportation, lifting equipment, safety measures, and incidentals necessary to deliver a complete and fully commissioned system in accordance with the requirements of this RFP.
