The Niagara Regional Transit building is located at 2012 First Street Louth in St Catharines, ON. The buildings’ building automation system is made up of 10 Carrier Open XP controllers with 3 I/O expansion boards connected on a BACnet MS/TP network. The system programming is currently inaccessible to the building operations team. These controllers and I/O boards control:
The successful proponent is to replace the Carrier Open XP controllers with new open source BACnet controllers, adding a building JACE 9000, and connecting the building BAS system to the Regions BAS Supervisor. In addition to the supply and installation of this new equipment the successful proponent will be responsible for the programming, graphics, proxy points and alarms. The building contains two (2) Carrier Roof top units (RTUs), as well as an ERV (Metasys controls), and two (2) Trane heat pump RTU’s that will need to be included into the new BAS system. The successful proponent will need to work with Region staff to develop the building sequence of operation for the MUA’s and exhaust fans. The final sequence of operation must be stamped by a professional engineer. |
