This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Consulting Services – Structural Analysis and Demolition of Regional Road 512 (74 Main Street West) in the Town of Grimsby, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

Regional Road 512 (74 Main Street West), Grimsby, ON (the “site”) is a Regional Municipality of Niagara (Region) owned property that was previously occupied as a two-storey building with residential apartments above a convenience store “Milk & Things”. The Region is working towards demolishing this building as it is constructed on top of 40 Mile Creek Bridge (Structure 081205) and is connected to the neighbouring plaza to the west. In order to assist in the process, the Region is seeking the services of qualified firms to provide a Structural Analysis on this building, Demolition Plans, Permitting for Demolition, Pre-Tender Document Preparation, and Contract Administration and Inspection Services, in accordance with the conditions set out in the RFT. 

This RFT is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2024-RFSQ-262 specifically Category 4.
