This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Steele St. Relocation/West Port Colborne Gravity Main EA Study: Consulting services for an feasibility study and conceptual design for a sewer trunk main on Elm Street in Port Colborne with possible elimination of several sewage pump stations (SPS) including Steele Street, Omer Avenue, Union, Arena and Elm Street SPSs, and including options to move Steele Street Sewage Pump Station (SPS) if not feasible to drain catchment to a new gravity trunk main, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The purpose of this assignment is to carry out the following tasks under each phase of work as an Environmental Assessment (EA) Schedule B and Conceptual Design as further described in Appendix B. This RFP is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2023-RFSQ-184 specifically Category 5 Environmental Assessment Studies, Category 9 Sewage Pump Stations and Category 12 Linear Infrastructure (including Trunk Sewers, Forcemains, Transmission Watermains) – Trenchless Installation.
