This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Supply & Installation of Decals on Niagara Transit Commission Vehicles, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). In January 2023, the Niagara Transit Commission (NTC) launched a new consolidated transit system, Niagara Region Transit, uniting the previously independent municipal transit services of St. Catharines Transit, Niagara Falls Transit, Welland Transit, and Fort Erie Transit into a single, region-wide operator. This historic amalgamation was the result of a multi-year governance and planning effort involving Niagara Region and its 12 local municipalities, aimed at improving service integration, expanding mobility options, and supporting economic and environmental goals across the region. The NTC is seeking a qualified Contractor to supply and install decals on 40’ foot and 60’ foot transit vehicles (Nova Bus and New Flyer), as well as preparation of the bus for decal installation (removal of existing decals, and painting). |
