This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Remote Patient Monitoring System for the Niagara Emergency Medical Services (NEMS) Community Paramedicine Program, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The purpose of this RFP is for NEMS to purchase digital technology in the form of a sustainable and expansive remote patient monitoring service/communication platform. The health monitoring program will allow rostered clients within our Community Paramedicine Program to obtain and monitor their own vital signs/health data and communicate these values to a secure web-based site where NEMS can monitor, draw reports, and receive alerts in an effort to maintain surveillance of a stable condition or ameliorate a potential chronic disease exacerbation through proactive and reactive management of the client’s biometric data. |
