This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Facility Waste Audits of Niagara Regional Headquarters and Niagara Regional Police Services Headquarters, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

Niagara Region is seeking consulting services to conduct solid non-hazardous waste composition audits at its two largest office buildings. These audits will analyze how waste is generated and managed. By understanding what and how much is being thrown out and diverted, the Region can find ways to reduce waste, improve diversion, lower its environmental impact, and possibly cut costs. The audit will also inform how well current diversion programs are working and where more employee education or changes in habits need focus.
