This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Police Secure Towing and Storage Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). Niagara Region will only consider proposals received from proponents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFP directly from Niagara Region’s public purchasing portal at https://niagararegion.bidsandtenders.ca/Module/Tenders/en (the “Bidding System”). Established in 1971, the Niagara Regional Police Service, herein after called the NRPS, is the oldest regional police service in Ontario. In an area of 1863 square kilometers, the Niagara Regional Police Service patrols one of Ontario's largest geographic Regions encompassing 12 municipalities with a combined population of over 431,000. On behalf of Niagara Region Police Service (NRPS), it is Niagara Region’s intension to request interested and qualified proponents to submit a proposal for the supply of 24-hour towing services, vehicle secure storage pound facilities, and Police Fleet vehicle towing for use by the NRPS within any one or more of the four (4) areas comprising the Regional Municipality of Niagara.
