This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Niagara Region Landfill Naturalization and Canopy Enhancement, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Region”) is seeking quotations from qualified contractors for the planting of seventy-five (75) native trees along the main trails and rest areas at the Elm Street Naturalization Site and twenty-five (25) native trees at the Humberstone Landfill. The project will include the tree planting locations and species selection as specified in Appendix E. The anticipated start date for this contract is August 1st, 2026, with a required completion date of October 31st, 2026. The planting timeline may be extended if the weather is favourable and approved by the Region. The Successful Respondent will be required to attend an on-site, pre-planting meeting prior to work commencing with the Regions Contract Administrator to review the deliverables. |
