****This RFP is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2019-RFPQ-173 specifically Category 11.****
Project Background Regional Road 48 (Niagara Street) is a major north/south roadway extending from Regional Road 81 (Church Street) to Regional Road 87 (Lakeshore road) within the City of St. Catharines. The section of Regional Road 48 (Niagara Street) between Regional Road 83 (Carlton Street) and Scott Street is deficient it terms of road surface, drainage and existing structure condition. The Region intends to reconstruct this section of roadway to an urban cross-section, thus eliminating these deficiencies. In order to proceed with the reconstruction the Region intends to retain a consultant to prepare the detailed design for the reconstruction and infrastructure improvements. The project is to proceed in accordance with Municipal Class Environmental Assessment as a Schedule A |
