This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2025-T-233 Supply & Delivery of Bus Shelter Replacements, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Niagara Transit Commission (NTC) seeks a vendor for the removal, disposal, supply, installation and reinstallation of bus shelters (and interior benches) at designated locations within Niagara region, to be completed by December 31, 2027, pursuant to an existing agreement with Pattison Outdoor Advertising. NTC requires the removal of approximately 100 transit shelters of various sizes and configurations. This includes disassembly, temporary storage of reusable components (tempered glass panels, advertisement display case and diffuser, roof, bench, overhead solar panel light kit), and disposal. Following removal of the transit shelter, NTC requires the supply and installation of a new transit shelter and bench at the same location, of various sizes and configurations. Based on budget approval, NTC has identified provisional work related to the removal, transportation, and reinstallation of approximately 50 existing transit shelters, of various sizes and configurations, to alternative locations within the Niagara Region. |
