1.1.1   Invitation

This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 7835 McLeod Rd Public Health/Business Licensing Amalgamation, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Niagara Region is seeking a qualified General Contractor to act as the Contractor under a CCDC2-2020 Contract to renovate the Niagara Region’s 7835 McLeod Rd, Public Health building. The Region is looking for an experienced firm that will provide value to the project with demonstrated ability in delivering this type of project in scope, on time and on budget with specific emphasis on quality and performance.

The 7835 McLeod Rd building was leased by the Niagara Region in 2019. The building currently has vacant space, and the Business Licensing group is leasing space in an adjacent municipality, Welland. The main objective of this project is to relocate the Business Licensing Team to this location to increase efficiency.

This RFT is being issued to all of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2024-RFSQ-203 specifically Category 1.
