THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF NIAGARA Tender 2019-T-195 DeCew Falls WTP Plant 3 Building Superstructure Addition and Filter Upgrades in the City of St. Catharines Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by the Procurement and Corporate Services division, Niagara Region, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Parkway, Thorold, ON, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, September 5, 2019 Only invited bidders who prequalified from Request for Pre-Qualification # 2019-RFPQ-176 Niagara Region DeCew WTP Plant 3 Upgrades Building Superstructure Addition and Process Upgrades, have been invited to bid on this Request for Tender: This contract is for the supply of all labour, equipment, and material required for the DeCew Falls WTP Plant 3 Building Superstructure Addition and Filter Upgrades project. The rehabilitation works will revolve around civil, architectural, structural, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls upgrades, specifically related to: Construction of a New Building Superstructure above the Flocculation and Settling Tanks; Rehabilitation of Flocculation and Settling Tanks; Filtration System Upgrades; Miscellaneous Process Upgrades; Low Lift Pump Building; Power Supply & Distribution System; Process Control & SCADA System; This contract utilizes the “Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document” (Revision 19), which forms the specification documents. The “Standard Document,” excepting the “Special Instructions to Bidders, Form of Tender, and Supplementary Special Provisions,” which are formatted for each project individually, is available online Bidding System Registration Niagara Region will only consider bids received from bidders who have registered with Niagara Region’s electronic bidding system at https://niagararegion.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”). All bidders must establish a Bidding System account and be registered as a Plan Taker for the bid opportunity, which will enable the bidder to receive addenda email notifications, and download addenda. A mandatory site visit will be held at the DeCew WTP on August 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. SHARP. The location is 2700 DeCew Road, St Catharines. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the amount of $500,000.00 Tenders will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. at Campbell West, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. No verbal inquiries will be accepted.
