The Niagara Region operates 55 locations throughout Niagara, from Grimsby to Fort Erie. These locations include, but are not limited to Water Treatment Plants, Child Care Centers, Office Buildings and Seniors Homes. Amongst these locations are approximately 2500 computers in the form of desktops, laptops and tablets that are on a hardware lifecycle rotation. We’ve identified approximately 950 Units that will need to be refreshed before the end of 2023. Note: Niagara Region reserves the right to increase or decrease the total number of deployed Units. The Niagara Region currently uses HP brand equipment for all desktops, laptops and accessories along with mainstream enterprise tools all imaging and application deployment(Microsoft Configuration Manager). This Request for Proposal covers the provision of services around the 2023 hardware refresh, which includes but is not limited to the coordinating and receiving, deployment and decommissioning. Please note that the purchase of the hardware is separate from this RFP. |
