This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide Supply of Safety Work Shoes and/or Boots for Corporate Purchases for Niagara Region EMS Employees as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).

The Niagara Emergency Medical Service (NEMS) includes more than four hundred (400) Paramedics and System Status Controllers (SSC) working from a fleet of more than forty (76) operational vehicles, responding to more than seventy-five thousand (75,000) calls for emergency medical pre-hospital care annually in the Niagara area. Paramedics, Supervisory, Dispatch, and support staff footwear which provides environmental protection and is well-suited for employment in the emergency services environment.

Niagara Region is seeking applications from experienced and qualified respondents for the supply of work shoes and/or boots for corporate purchases for Niagara Region EMS employees. Staff receive a voucher for purchase of appropriate footwear upon joining the Service, and another voucher annually.
