This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for High-Voltage Electrical Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Regional Municipality of Niagara is inviting detailed proposals from qualified and experienced service providers with proven expertise in the inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance, replacement and repair of Electrical Distribution Systems, High Voltage Equipment, and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Systems. The successful Proponent will be responsible for delivering Preventative Maintenance (PM), Demand Maintenance (DM), and Emergency Services (ES), and for furnishing all required materials, labour, supervision, transportation, inspections, permits, licenses, equipment, and any ancillary devices necessary to carry out the work. Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary permits, licences, certificates, and inspection required for the execution of the work. Proponents must demonstrate the capability to provide high-quality, timely, and cost-effective electrical services across a broad and diverse portfolio of Regional facilities. All Services are to be completed in a manner that minimizes disruption to operations while ensuring system reliability, performance, safety, efficiency, and the conservation of energy and resources. Appendix D – Co-operative Information identifies member Agencies of the NPPC that may opt to join this contract at any time upon expiry of their current contracts. This decision to join will be at each Agency’s sole discretion. Participating Agencies will be responsible for issuing its own purchase order, in addition to paying its own invoices. |
