**NOTE: It is highly recommended that a thorough review of this RFT document be completed. Niagara Region has recently revised several sections of this RFT document. Specifically, changes have been made to how bids, bid security and agreements to bond are to be submitted. Failure to read and comply with the current RFT requirements may result in your bid being declared non-compliant and disqualified. This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2025-T-87 Brine Storage System Rehabilitations at Road Operations Patrol Yards, as further described herein. The Regional Municipality of Niagara owns and operates four Patrol Yards across the region which are utilized by our Public Works Transportation Operations Division for winter road maintenance. All patrol yards currently have existing brine stations that were initially installed over 20 years ago and rehabilitated to accommodate for the storage and mixing of beet and brine solutions for road application. The beet solution has not been used for several years, and the current brine stations have reached their useful life. |
