This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Lighting Retrofit at Meadows of Dorchester - Construction, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). Niagara Region is looking to improve energy efficiency and reduce operations and maintenance costs through replacing/retrofitting the existing fluorescent lighting in the Meadows of Dorchester building with LED’s, as well as standardize the lighting systems. This project involves the removal and replacement of various light fixtures with new LED fixtures, the retrofitting of existing fixtures with new LED Lamps/drivers and the installation of some new localized lighting control in resident bedrooms. Also included in the base scope is the supply and installation of new surge protection devices on lighting panels throughout the home. There are provisional prices requested for the supply and installation of parking lot fixtures and the installation of a power factor correction capacitor and associated switchboard modifications. INVITATION: This RFT is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2022-RFPQ-107 specifically Category 3. |
